    Honey and, spinach, but also avocados seen to help. Cheese hurts. Gawd awful passion from cheese. Dairy, and pork hurt, as well as greasy, and salty foods.

    These things are all well and good but I have colitis as well so pepper and nuts/seeds are totally out of the picture…

    I have tried everything from spinach to hot peppers nothing seems to help except getting 8to 10hours of sleep it helps somewhat but very little don’t know what else to do but follow my Med regimen

    I’m sorry to hear that, Nancey! Of what I know, going gluten-free and taking vitamin D supplements might also be helpful, did you try these as well?

    I had my D levels checked 1st thing with my newest Fibro. Dr, Betsy Shook with the she said they were extremely low and put me on supplements. I hear Fibro. patients have low D in common. I was told to take Cuminum for pain. I find soaking in Epsom salts and taking small doses of Melatonin help me sleep Fibro. ppl need their sleep.

  10. Hi. One of the things my naturopath did was an allergy test. Seems that I am very allergic to cashews, spinach, cinnamon, cherries, blueberries and a few minor things. All of these make my symptoms worse. Raw salmon (sashimi) makes me feel better. Eating a diet low in sugar, with lots of vegetables and very little fruit (fructose!) makes the fogginess go away most of the time and I have more energy. I’ve lived with diagnosed fibromyalgia for 6 years now, and managing well as long as I don’t step outside the bounds of my diet. Getting regular sleep helps too. I take 5HTP 100mg and tryptophan 1000 mg to keep depression at bay. If I miss taking these for a couple of days I feel much worse and down in the dumps. This works for me, but maybe not for others. My latest blood test, about 3 months ago, showed normal levels of nutrients, elements and vitamins. My LDL-HDL cholesterol levels were perfect. I would recommend anyone with Fibromyalgia to have a regular blood test and to have an allergy test. All the best, Peter

    Just wondering…I heard Peppers are part of the night shade vegetable group and night shade vegetables are said to cause inflammation.
