If you’ve been struggling with feeling sluggish, if you’ve been fighting disease symptoms and haven’t been able to figure out the cause, you might want to read a book by Dr. Robert O. Young and Shelley Redford Young called The pH Miracle: Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health.

This book has been getting excellent reviews. In it the authors detail how to detox your body and nourish yourself from the inside out with the nutrients and minerals you need to feel better.

From the review, major points from the book include:

Core nutrients–an all-new program that provides the most important components your body needs: chlorophyll from green vegetables, essential oils, alkaline water, and pure mineral salts

Cleansing–remove impurities and normalize digestion and metabolism with new ways to detox the body

Exercising right–a brand-new chapter on which alkalizing exercises help maintain the correct pH level

Alkaline foods–over thirty-five new, tempting pH-powerful recipes to help you easily balance your body using foods like tomatoes, avocados, sprouts, nuts, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and green vegetables.

Our take: while some of Dr. Young’s claims represent some questionable science, many of his recommendations are sound. We’ll always support eating plenty of vegetables, drinking water, and getting exercise as basic tenets of good health, and this book covers all those bases.
